New Mexico Hunting Weather

August can be hot. Average high temperatures can be in the high 80's and 90's with lows in the 60's. We recommend you have warm weather gear and a layered approach.

September Archery season can be cool at night and early morning , around 35 – 60 degrees, warming during the day ranging between 50 – 80 degrees. LOH uses extremely lightweight/breathable camo and layer over top with a vest or jacket for cool mornings, then shed layers before getting warm and sweaty to reduce scent.

October gun season can be cold sometimes freezing at night and early morning, around 30 – 50 degrees, warming during the day, ranging between 50 – 70 degrees. LOH normally wears lightweight/breathable camo and dress in layers as it can be cold in the morning but warm up quickly during the day.
