Units 13, 16's, & 17 will most likely be based out of our Magdalena Lodge or our Datil Lodge.
Units 15, will be in Reserve NM or Datil, NM.
Units 12 will be in Quemado.
Units 34 will be towards Cloudcroft or Mayhill.
Units 36 will be in Alto.
Units 29,30,32,33, will be based out of Artesia.
It is a good idea to rent a vehicle as we currently do not offer airport pickup. The only time you will be utilizing the rental car is traveling from the airport to the lodge. A basic car will do, something to fit your gear and drive on a paved road. Base your choice off the season.
It is best to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. Better deals are often available when booking airfare & vehicle as package deals.
You are responsible for your transportation to and from New Mexico and your hunt location. Our hunts take place at different locations across New Mexico. We will work with you and recommend options for which airport locations to book for your hunt. You are also responsible for your own vehicle transportation.
This is a common FAQ for us. Whether driving or flying, we recommend that you arrive at your hunt location between 1-2pm the day before your hunt. Most hunts start on a Saturday, come in on a friday, hunt saturday- wednesday, leave thursday. This allows you time to get checked in, take care of pre-hunt paperwork, and ensure you have time to be escorted to our range to test fire your weapon.
